Instead of reading about different career choices, experience them directly.

If you are like most college students, you are feeling pressure to choose a career, but you don’t have any direct insight into what it actually feels like to work in the various fields you are considering.

Introships pull back the curtain on the kind of people that work in these jobs, and what they do every day. You will see them in work environments and social settings after work, and start to develop a sense of what various careers would be like.

"When I chose UVA, I knew I'd love the school, but I had no idea what I wanted to study. When I found out about the Atlanta Introship during my first semester, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to help figure this out. During my weeks at TMO and Source Capital, I discovered a strong interest in finance, which led me to apply to UVA's McIntire School of Commerce during my second year. Currently, I am a third-year at McIntire concentrating in Finance and Information Technology. I give the Atlanta Introship a lot of credit for helping me discover my passion!"

"The Introship experience is completely unique in that it allows you to understand the workings of different industries in such a short period of time; as college students, this is some of the best guidance we can receive as we begin the career-decision process."

"Being a part of the Atlanta Introship program gave me valuable experience in a variety of fields. Introships gave me a clearer picture of what I wanted to pursue, and I think just as importantly, it showed me some things I wasn't interested in pursuing. It's a great way to get introduced to the business world and I'm forever grateful to have been a part of it."
